TV Commander
Support
Help for setup, compatibility, and common issues.
Getting Started
Make sure your iPhone or iPad and your Smart TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Open TV Commander, allow local network access when prompted, and select your TV from the available devices.
TV Not Found
If your TV does not appear, confirm that the TV is powered on, connected to the same network, and allows remote-control or mobile-app connections in its settings. Restarting the TV, router, and app can also help refresh network discovery.
Commands Not Working
Some TV models support only part of their manufacturer's remote-control protocol. Compatibility can vary by brand, model, firmware version, region, and network configuration.
Voice Commands
Voice commands require microphone and speech recognition permissions. If voice commands are unavailable, check iOS or iPadOS Settings and confirm that TV Commander has permission to use these features.
Privacy
TV Commander is designed around local control and does not require an account. Read the full Privacy Policy.
