TV Commander
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Overview
TV Commander is designed to work as a simple Smart TV remote on your local network. We do not sell personal data, share personal data with advertisers, or use third-party tracking in the app.
Data Collection
TV Commander does not collect personal data from users. The app does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, location data, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
Local Network Access
The app may request local network permission to discover and control compatible Smart TVs on the same Wi-Fi network. Device discovery and remote commands are used to provide the app's core remote-control functionality.
Voice Commands
If you use voice command features, TV Commander may request microphone and speech recognition permissions. These features are initiated by you and are used only to interpret remote-control commands.
Storage
The app may store basic settings or saved TV configurations on your device so the remote can work more conveniently. This information remains local to your device unless the operating system syncs or backs it up through your own device settings.
Third-Party Services
TV Commander does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated before those services are used.
Children's Privacy
TV Commander is not designed to collect data from children. Because the app does not require an account or collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
